Kundalini Yoga & Meditation

This class will use the practice of Kundalini Yoga (KY) as taught by Yoga Bhajan to help balance the mind, body, and spirit focusing on transformation, healing and prosperity. The class will foster the creative potential of the human experience by drawing upon the immense wealth of KY techniques taught by Yogi Bhajan. Students will be guided to experience their own Guru within, that which is the inherent divine intelligence already present inside one’s self. Format of the class will typically be 8 to 10 minutes of warmups or pranayama (breath control), 40 minutes of a KY kriya (sequence of exercises), 8 to 10 minutes of deep relaxation (savasana), and finishing with a 5 to 10 minute meditation. Crystal singing bowls may be used as a healing modality during deep relaxation. Each class will be adapted to the level of the students present that day, thus all levels are welcome.
