Molly began her yoga journey while on the path of dance. As she was studying for her BFA at University of Illinois in '99, the dance department began offering ashtanga yoga classes. From the first class, first sustained breath, first transcendent experience of meditation she was forever dedicated. The overuse and abuse of the body while performing had finally found balance, not only physically but spiritually as well. It was a new found freedom, a healing. As she moved on to California, she decided to deepen her knowledge and love of Yoga by perusing her Vinyasa Flow certification from Yoga Alliance. Her classes combine intensely serene breath work with a practical yet spiritual approach to asanas. The Vinyasa style has its similarities to dance technique with its use of harmonious flow between postures and breath. Yogic knowledge applied with her studies of kinesthetics, anatomy, and physics all contribute to a strong foundation form which students can benefit indefinitely.
